About
The Anykščiai pine grove is a pine forest south of the town, made famous by Antanas Baranauskas's poem "Anykščių šilelis" (1858–1859). The forest celebrated in the poem has become one of the symbols of the Lithuanian landscape.
The grove is home to Puntukas Boulder, the Treetop Walking Path and walking trails along the Šventoji. It is a peaceful place for a walk in any season.
